General & Commercial
Yes. Branch It is 100% Australian owned and operated, with manufacturing operations based in Melbourne, Victoria, servicing job sites and workshops Australia-wide.
We manufacture for data centre cooling infrastructure, municipal water and fluid treatment, food and beverage processing, architectural and civil infrastructure, and general HVAC and commercial building services.
Branch It is structured primarily for continuous production efficiency and high-volume program runs. While we process first-article verification pieces for major projects, our workshop capacity is optimized for repeat-volume manifold and spool programs.
Send your CAD files, PDF drawings, engineering specifications, or program schedules to sales@Branch It.com.au or use the upload form on our website. To get an accurate quote, include your material grade, tube/pipe sizes, estimated quantities, and required delivery dates.
Yes. We work directly with estimators, BIM managers, and project engineers during early-stage design to optimize manifold layouts for automated production, helping locked-in tenders achieve maximum speed and cost efficiency.
Process, Terminology & Technical Capabilities
Yes. In engineering specifications and CAD models, branch pulling is frequently referred to as an extruded outlet, extruded branch connection, collared outlet, or pipe necking. It is a cold-forming process where a raised, radiused branch outlet is drawn directly out of the main run pipe wall.
Traditional fabrication relies on cutting run pipe and welding in separate reducing tees or weld-on branch fittings. Automated branch pulling forms the outlet collar directly from the parent pipe—eliminating a full weld joint per branch, drastically reducing heat distortion, improving internal flow profiles, eliminating sharp internal weld beads, and slashing manufacturing lead times.
Our automated manufacturing capability covers thin-walled stainless-steel tube from 25mm through to 200mm OD, as well as Schedule 10 pipe schedules. We work primarily in 304/304L and 316/316L stainless steel, as well as Duplex and Super Duplex alloys (with other specialized alloys available on request).
Virtually everything can be tailored to match your CAD/BIM models—including tube/pipe diameter, wall thickness, branch outlet sizes, axial rotation, custom center-to-center port spacings, header length, and flange or fitting types. Our automated equipment is optimized for high-precision, 90-degree perpendicular branch outlets along the parent pipe run.
Yes. In most cases, replacing traditional welded tees with automated pulled branch manifolds requires no change to overall spool envelope dimensions or flange centerlines. Our technical team can review your 3D models or isometric drawings to identify where branch pulling can simplify your spool design and lower fabrication costs.
Fabrication, Assemblies & Extended Capabilities
Yes. We manufacture custom pulled branch reducing tees as well as continuous long-run distribution headers featuring multiple sequential pulled outlets at exact center-to-center spacings.
Yes. Through our extended manufacturing capabilities, we supply complete pipework sections, pre-assembled manifold spools, custom frames, and modular skid assemblies tailored directly to your design.
Yes. We can process free-issue tube and pipe supplied directly from your distributor or site, apply our automated branch pulling, and return formed headers ready for assembly.
Fabricated components are externally passivated as standard following welding. Internal citric passivation, surface polishing, or supplying components in an as-pulled/as-welded state can be specified based on your project requirements.
Standards, Quality Assurance & Logistics
Yes. Under Australian piping and pressure equipment standards (such as AS 4041), pulled branch connections are recognized as mechanically formed joints. When engineered and pulled within specified wall thickness and geometry parameters, they provide full structural integrity and joint compliance.
Yes. All welding is executed by certified fabricators in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and project-specific WPS/PQR specifications.
We establish documentation requirements at project intake. We provide full material traceability, mill test reports, compliance documentation, and QA certification packages. Depending on project scope, we also offer non-destructive testing (NDT) including hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, dye penetrant inspection (DP), and weld examination.
All components are cleaned, end-capped to prevent contamination during transit, securely cradled, and freight-wrapped for safe long-distance transport anywhere in Australia.
Data Centre Spooling & Program Delivery
Yes. Branch It manufactures custom manifolds, pulled branches, and pipework spools purpose-built for data centre cooling infrastructure and high-density data hall builds that require large volumes of identical, highly repeatable spools.
Yes. HAC and CAC headers are ideal candidates for our automated branch-pulling technology. We produce multi-branch distribution headers with continuous, highly repeatable branch outlets designed specifically for high-density data hall cooling loops.
Our capability covers supply and return headers for Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs), Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx), CRAH units, and direct-to-chip secondary fluid loops (SFL). We pull continuous branch outlets to exact BIM model centerlines across both tube and Schedule 10 pipe.
We utilize Australia’s first next-generation automated branch-pulling technology of its class. By replacing manual T-pulling with automation, we compress fabrication timelines from weeks down to hours while maintaining continuous, identical accuracy across large production runs.
